Susan Tedeschi Trucks is an American guitarist and singer whose fluid, flawless Fender playing and raspy, resonant voice captivate all who listen. She sings with a classic blues soul, and she strums like a stream flowing downhill - effortless, confident, unrestrained. Like Janis Joplin or Stevie Nicks, her power possesses the audience, leaving every last drop of passion on the stage.  
Her debut album Just Won’t Burn has completely blown my socks off - it will most certainly claim the top spot on my 2026 Spotify Wrapped. One of my favorite tracks is her cover of “Voodoo Woman,” originally by Koko Taylor - the "Queen of the Blues.” It feels less like an interpretation and rather like an inheritance.
