ABUNDANCE!

Living from a place of prosperity, in abounding fullness of joy and strength of spirit and soul. A feeling from which you are not wanting anything not because you have a lot, but you are a lot.

Attention artists and authors - do you have an abundance of superb stories, poems, or art pieces that you would like published? An abundance of time has taken place since the last submission window, but the Northern New England Review is finally accepting submissions for the 46th edition of their literary journal on February 10th, 2026. And, if you haven’t guessed, this year our theme is abundance.

While we may get an abundance of submissions, your piece may fit our journal like a glass slipper. We are searching far and wide for an abundance of art that encompasses an abundance of passion. You may craze love, nature, colors, nostalgia, grief, or perhaps the kitchen sink! Whatever your definition, your relationship, your yearning… We want it.

For this call, we are seeking stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, and visual art. Submission requirements: keep your poems to three max, 2500 words max for fiction, and creative non-fiction. Visual art submissions just need to be easily posted on a website or printed in our journal. Submissions open February 10th and close on March 17th.

All submitted work will be considered for both print and online.
