Treaty Oak Revival
Treaty Oak Revival is an American country-rock and southern rock band that formed in Odessa, Texas in 2018. The group blends traditional Texas Red Dirt country with driving rock energy and elements of punk, creating a sound that’s both gritty and heartfelt.
The band began as a cover group but quickly developed its own identity, named in homage to the historic Treaty Oak in Austin, Texas, a legendary gathering site for indigenous tribes, reflecting their deep Texan roots. The current lineup features Sam Canty (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Lance Vanley (rhythm guitar, vocals), Jeremiah Vanley (lead guitar), Cody Holloway (drums), and Dakota Hernandez (bass).
They released their debut studio album No Vacancy in 2021, which helped establish them on the Texas country and Red Dirt scene, followed by Have a Nice Day in 2023. Both albums earned critical and commercial attention, with Have a Nice Day debuting on the Billboard 200. In 2025 they released West Texas Degenerate, featuring hits like “Bad State of Mind,” and my personal favorite, “Withdrawals”.
Known for high-energy live shows and a strong connection with fans, Treaty Oak Revival has toured arenas and festivals across the U.S. and internationally, and garnered nominations from major music awards. Due to their unique style and performances, Treaty Oak will remain in the mainstream for years to come.
