Down the shore

The sun will rise
Turn the ocean aglow
Endless ripples
Ebb and flow

Glistening waters, Crashing waves
Salty air, Balmy rays

Forever sky
Shades of blue
It knows me well
If you only knew

The pull of the ocean
Intense and deep
It holds my soul
The secrets I keep

Time stands still
And flies away
The ocean is infinite
And gives me space

To smile, To weep, To love, To leap
To give, To take, To sleep, To hate

To the ocean I come
And let it all go

Abandon all hope
Embrace only flow

The waves grow softer
The sun begins to fade
A lilac-pink canvas
Pastel clouds sway

As the magical skies
Melt away
There’s calm in the Ocean
Dusk on the way

My soul is at ease
All troubles imaginary
The shore is eternal
My precious sanctuary
